LMSD dropout prevention recognizes students and mentors

Louisville Municipal School District recently held a a “Spotlight on Mentees” program on Friday, May 9 at Eiland Middle School . Dr. Nola Bryant welcomed everyone to the program which recognized the accomplishments of the children who were in the mentoring program.
She encouraged attendees to continue to “think for yourselves and think about the decisions that you make everyday.” “Take the words of encouragement from the mentors and use them everyday.”

Students from Eiland Middle School that were recognized are the following: Frederekia Sha’da Mallard, Treasure Monae’ Coleman, Rylan Marshall Swindle, Jeffrey Anderson, Dominique Lashay Foster, LaJordin Henley, Spencer Triplett, Montravious Triplett,and Kameron Allen Gladney.
Students from Louisville Elementary that were recognized are the following: Sierra Lakota Bryan, Maryam Olivia Miller, Tyberanna Lashae Coleman, James Donovan Threet, Travis Manya Coats, Tykeyvious Deshun Miller, Elvondrick Dominique Idom, and Nekendrick Ke’shun Nicholson.
Students from Noxapater Attendance Center that were recognized are the following: Zachary Eaves and Jaden Carter. The children were awarded certificates based on accomplishments and grades.
