A record-breaking group of more than 2,400 owners and key employees of SERVPRO Franchises nationwide, including Gerald & Peggy Barton and
Daniel & Noelle Ray of SERVPRO of Louisville, Forest & Winona, recently attended the company‚s 45th Annual Convention. The event was held June 24 to June 27 at the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center in Nashville, TN.
Each year, SERVPRO®, an industry leader in disaster cleanup, restoration and remediation services, offers Convention attendees an extensive program of workshop sessions on a variety of topics with two goals in mind: updating Franchisees on the most advanced disaster mitigation solutions available and helping Franchisees build and maintain successful businesses that are ready to deliver those solutions at a moment‚s notice to home and business owners in their communities.
“This year, we had more than 60 education and business sessions to choose from, covering more than 25 different topics,” said Gerald Barton, SERVPRO of Louisville, Forest and Winona owner. “The Convention always helps me catch up on corporate initiatives, learn about developing trends in the industry, and share practical knowledge with fellow Franchisees.
All-in-all, I return home prepared to offer the latest and most effective services to our customers ˆ and that benefits not only my business, but my community as well.”
This year‚s keynote speaker was Chris McChesney, author of the book, The 4 Disciplines of Execution (4DX), who offered attendees a formula for executing their most important strategic priorities as business owners.
Attendees also had the opportunity to tour the company‚s newly expanded Corporate Headquarters, located just north of Nashville, and to participate in an inaugural Convention 5K run with proceeds benefitting the American Red Cross Ready Rating Program, a strategic partnership initiative of SERVPRO.
“SERVPRO® continues to be an innovator and leader in our industry,” said Sue Steen, Chief Executive Officer of Servpro Industries, Inc. “We know that our Franchisees are the key to maintaining this leadership position, and our Annual Convention is the best opportunity to provide them with the knowledge, tools and company intelligence they need to run successful businesses. When we support our Franchisees, we are ensuring that SERVPRO will continue to be the company customers turn to for the best possible service in what may be the worst possible circumstances.”
