Lymphoma Survivor Bash for Salexxius Mays

On Sunday, June 2, 2013, 3 – 6 p.m., there will be a BASH in honor of Salexxius Mays. This event will be held at Dean Park (Center Ridge Park), Hwy 15 South, Louisville, MS 39339. Winston County Communities and surrounding areas are all invited. The attire is lime green/or white or whatever you would like to wear. There will be free food and drinks, a water slide and a bouncer, and a live DJ “Reddmann Tha Grand Champ”. All guest are ask to donate $3.00 at the gate. This event is co-sponsored by Friends of Dean Park, Inc. and the parents, family and friends of Salexxius Mays.

Salexxius was diagnosed with lymphoma cancer, October 1, 2010, while a member of the Boys and Girls Club of Winston County. She has since gone into remission and is doing well but continues to travel back and forth to the Blair E. Batson Children’s Hospital, Jackson, MS. The fundraiser is to raise money to donate to the hospital in her honor. The goal for this fundraiser is ‘to be a blessing to other children who receives care there also’. She is the daughter of Nita Haynes-Ezell and George Ezell.
