The Winston County Sheriff’s Department made an arrest in the Feb. 26 murder of a Winston County man.
Chadale Hall,34, of Kosciusko has been charged with murder on Feb. 27. He was arrested on Feb. 26 as part of the investigation according the jail docket at the Winston County Correctional facility.
The murder of Marcus D. Henton, 34, occurred around 3:30 a.m. on Feb. 26. Henton was shot in the back around 3:35 a.m. by a .40 caliber handgun during an altercation at The Imperial Palace Club on 2710 MS Hwy 14 West in Louisville.
Henton was pronounced dead shortly after his arrival at the hospital. An autopsy was performed Monday at the Mississippi Medical Examiner Crime Lab in Jackson according to Winston County Coroner, Scott Gregory.
Another person was also shot at the club and was treated and released from Winston Medical Center for non-life threatening injuries.
Four weapons were discovered at the scene including the murder weapon. At least one of the weapons found was a stolen firearm. The Sheriff’s Department is investigating the rest of the weapons.
Sheriff Jason Pugh recognized the hard work of his officers on the case.
The Imperial Palace has been discussed numerous times at the Winston County Board of Supervisors over its failure to meet the county’s beer license laws and privilege license rules. The club has also been the scene of other crimes including at least one other murder.
This is the second murder in the county in 2012

Chadale Hall, 34, was arraigned Feb. 29 on murder charges with his bond set at $500,000.
Hall is charged in the murder of Marcus Henton, 34. Henton was killed in an early morning shooting at the Imperial Palace Club Feb. 26. Another person was received a minor bullet wound in the incident.
The shooting remains under investigation by the Winston County Sheriff’s Department.
