Lee McCall has been hired as the new Chief Executive Officer at Neshoba County General Hospital and Nursing Home, the Board of Trustees announced today.
The announcement was made to hospital managers on Thursday, February 20, 2014.
McCall has hadrepeated success in his tenure as a healthcare leader, most recently as chief executive officer for Winston Medical Center, a 41-bed hospital and a 120 bed nursing home in Louisville.
Prior to that, he served as CEO for Jefferson Davis Community Hospital, a 25-bed critical access hospital and a 60-bed nursing home in Prentiss.
McCall was born in Natchez and grew-up in Byram. He holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration and a Master’s Degree in Public Health from the University of Southern Mississippi.
McCall is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives. He is actively involved in the Mississippi Hospital Association (MHA), having served on its Board of Governors and currently serving on the MHA Solutions Board of Directors, the Rural Hospital Alliance Board of Directors, and Healthcare Providers Insurance Company Board of Directors.
McCall is an active member of the Winston County Chamber of Commerce and serves on its Board of Directors. He is also a member of the Louisville Rotary Club.
His wife, Ashley, is originally from Jackson. They have two sons, ages eight and five.
McCall will succeed Lonnie Graeber who is retiring as CEO.
McCall said he was honored to be the next leader of the hospital and nursing home.
“This is an exciting opportunity and I am honored to have been chosen by the Board of Trustees as the next leader of Neshoba County General Hospital – Nursing Home,” he said.
