Jackson, Miss. – The Mississippi Arts Commission (MAC) will host MAC 101, a presentation on the agency’s grant programs, at multiple sites around the state. These workshops target Mississippi based artists and arts organizations.
At each session, MAC staff will present an overview of the agency’s grant programs and other services. This year, there will be sessions focused on organizations, individual artists, and specific aspect of the grant applications. This will be followed by a discussion on how to prepare an application for the agency’s upcoming annual grant deadline on March 1st. First-time applicants are especially encouraged to attend.
These presentations are free and open to the public and registration is not required. All questions about the sessions, locations, etc., should be directed to Diane Williams, Director of Grants at (601) 359-6529 or firstname.lastname@example.org. Please do not contact the host sites.
For those who cannot attend one of the presentations in person, the MAC will be offering a conference call version at a later date. To register for the call, please contact Diane Williams, Director of Grants, at (601) 359-6529 or email@example.com.
