New officer

Tyler Yarbough, 26, was recently sworn in as a Louisville Police Department officer. Yarbrough has been on duty since April 17 and noted that with the recent tornado the job as had a quick learning curve. Yarbrough noted that he joined the force because it is something he has always wanted to do and that his grandfather and father have served on MHP. His wife, Kristen Yarbrough held the Bible during the swearing in ceremony with Lousiville Mayor Will Hill, LPD Chief L.M. Claiborne and Assistant Chief Andy Taylor.
