From press reports
The Louisville Bobcats (LBC) is the new community organization started by Lawrence Sangster that is focused on providing sports activities for the youth and adults in the Louisville and Winston County areas.
The Louisville Bobcats’ organizational mission is to promote wholesome development of our youth through sports activities and their association with adult leaders who are coaches and mentors. In this ways, the Louisville Bobcats organization hopes to give back to the community by having activities that stress the importance of academic achievements and
strong Christian values.
The Louisville Bobcats also hopes to encourage community sports activities for adults that will encourage a stronger community spirit and provide opportunities for our community to be healthier through sports. LBC activities would be dedicated to teaching youth and adults through positive role models. Our emphasis would not just be on playing sports but on learning about being of a team instilling high moral standards by stressing the importance of academic achievement and community involvement. LBC wants to help our youth and adults learn how to become leaders and will work to foster confidence and a sense of self-worth that extends beyond the athletic activities and into the school, family and community.
