Ms. Nancy McHann
Nancy McHann, 60, passed away on Saturday, July 12, 2014, at Belhaven Senior Care in Jackson, Mississippi.
Funeral services were held

at 2 p.m. on Monday, July 14, 2014, in the Nowell-Massey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Larry Yarber officiating. Visitation was the day of the service from 1 p.m. until service time. Interment followed in Craig Springs Cemetery in Oktibbeha County.
Ms. McHann, a nurse, was born on October 4, 1953, to George Odie McHann and Juanita Ellington McHann.
Ms. McHann is survived by her daughters, Allison Wooldridge and Erica Wooldridge both of Pearl, Mississippi. She is also survived by her sister, Elizabeth McGee of Ackerman; and three brothers, Clayton McHann of Bradley, Mississippi; Odie McHann of Starkville, Mississippi; and Ronnie McHann of Atlanta, Georgia; and her aunt, Vergie Ellington, of Bradley. Ms. McHann has four grandchildren.
Serving as pallbearers are Brian Huff, Blake Reed, Curt McGee, Michael Reed, Chris McHann, and Stanton McMinn.

Marqavier Jamal Kennedy
Marqavier Jamal Kennedy, 15, of Louisville, MS passed away July 8, 2014.
Marqavier is survived by his father Steven Hunt; mother Shalanda Hunt; sisters Jalanda Kennedy of Forest, MS and Alexuis Hunt of Chicago, IL; brothers Maques Kennedy and Steven Hunt both of Forst, MS and Detric Summer Carthage, MS; grandparents; Willie and Maragret Kennedy, and Janie Lou Grady, aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives.
Services for Marqavier were July 12, 2014 at Jerusalem Temple in Philadelphia, MS. officiating was Rev. Harold Coburn. Interment followed in Donald Rest cemetery. Beck Funeral Home of Louisville in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Therman Gene Norton
Therman Gene Norton, 66, passed away at his home July 1, 2014.
He is survived by his daughters; Teresa Pease, Sonja Norton, LaJune Norton, DeNisha White, JeNetria White and Tywanda Norton all of Louisville, MS, sons; Terrance Miller and Rodney Miller both of Louisville, MS, one step-son, Scottie Lewis, sisters; Lucy Ingram and Melanie Perry both of Louisville, MS, brother; George Allen Perry of Louisville, MS, other near relatives; 27 grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other relatives. He was a member of Ebenezer Church of God In Christ in Louisville, MS.
Services for Mr. Norton were held July 10, 2014 at Ebenezer Church of God In Christ in Louisville, MS. Interment followed in the church cemetery. Beck Funeral Home of Louisville in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Fredrick Riddle
Fredrick Riddle, 57, was born August 2, 2014 in Louisville, MS. He is survived by his mother; Mary D. Gandy, daughters; Santreena Triplett and Crystal Riddle both of Louisville, MS and Juqetta McDonald of Philadelpha, MS; sons Fredrick Hathorn of Killeen, TX and Cedrick Riddle of Noxapater, MS; sisters Joyce Riddle of Louisville, MS, Teresa Cross of Meridian, MS and Mary Jo Eiland of Houston, TX; brothers Troy Lee Riddle of Chicago, IL, Jerry Lee Riddle, Lashun Hoskin and Casey Baker all of Louisville, MS; 6 grandchildren, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and other relatives and friends and 3 step-children, Caren, Billy and James.
Funeral services for Mr. Fredrick Riddle were held July 8, 2014, 1 PM at Beck Funeral Home. Officiating was Elder James Young. Interment followed in the Memorial Garden Cemetery. Beck Funeral Home of Louisville was in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Hayden Watkins
Funeral services for Mr. Hayden Watkins was held at 3 PM Thursday, July 3, 2014 from John E. Stephens Chapel with Rev. John Stephens officiating. Interment was in Morrow Cemetery in the Dixon Community. John E. Stephens Chapel Funeral Services was in charge of local arrangements.
Hayden “PawPaw Noo Noo” Watkins, 79, passed away Monday, June 30, 2014, at Generations Nursing Home in Red Bay, AL. He was born August 30, 1934 to the late John Franklin Watkins and the late Adra Pearl Watkins in Neshoba County. He retired from Guntown School District after many years of service. He was a member of Alter Baptist Church. He enjoyed traveling out west, hunting, fishing, gardening, woodworking, especially making custom walking canes and spending time with his family and friends. He was a true Tremont Eagle fan and Mississippi State fan.
Survivors include 3 daughters, Cathy Davis of Tupelo, Dianna Vinson of Golden, Tina (Larry) Caden of Belleville, IL, 4 Granddaughters, April Vinson of Golden, Amanda Roth, Amber Howard, Janice Caden, 4 Grandsons, James Vinson, Matt Davis, Brett Davis, Joshua Jolley, and several Great Grandchildren.
Mr. Earnest Smith
Funeral service for Mr. Earnest Smith was held Saturday, July 12, 2014, at 2:30 p.m. from Mt. Moriah M.B. Church.
Visitation was Friday, July 11, 2014, at Williams, Herring & Hampton from 4-6 p.m. in the church one hour prior to service. Burial proceeded in the Memorial Garden.

Mildred Carr
Mildred Carr McLeod, 94, passed away surrounded
by her loving family on Thursday, July 10, 2014, at
Winston Medical Center in Louisville, Mississippi.
Visitation was Sunday, July 13, 2014, at Nowell-Massey
Funeral Home from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Funeral services
were held at 10 a.m. on Monday, July 14, 2014, in the
Nowell-Massey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Grady
Crowell and Rev. Larry Haggard officiating. Interment
followed in Rocky Hill United Methodist Church
Mrs. McLeod was born on September 20, 1919; she
was the sixth of 11 children born to Annie Mae Ingram
Carr and Robert Lafayette Carr. She was a member of
Rocky Hill United Methodist Church and she was a
Mrs. McLeod is survived by her children, Jean
Boydstun; Johnny McLeod and wife, Paulette; and Joyce
Hall, all of Louisville; her sister, Maxine Hurt, of
Hattiesburg, Mississippi; and her daughter-in-law, Brenda
Miles McLeod of Marietta, Georgia. She has eight
grandchildren: Christy McLeod; Jamie Boydstun; Lee
Boydstun and wife, Jennifer; Annice Hill and husband,
Scott; Mary Harrison and husband, Robert; Lee
Frederick, Jr., Joann Clark and husband, Tim; and J. J.
Hall and wife, Patti. Mrs. McLeod has 12 greatgrandchildren:
Nikki Davis and husband, Michael; John
Michael Hill; A. J. Clark; Amy, Sam, and Jed Hall;
Rebecca Boydstun; Daniel and Olivia Smith; Tyler and
Kaleigh Frederick; and Garrett Harrison. She was
preceded in death by her husband, John C. McLeod; her
son, Jack McLeod; her parents; two grandchildren, Clark
Hall and Amy Boydstun; her great-grandson, John
William Hall; four sisters, and five brothers.
Serving as pallbearers were J. J. Hall, Tim Clark, A. J.
Clark, Lee Boydstun, John Michael Hill, and Lee
Frederick, Jr. Memorials may be given to Winston
Community Development Disaster Relief Fund,
Renasant Bank, P. O. Box 389, Louisville, MS 39339.

Joe Woodrick
Richardson, Sr.
Joe Woodrick Richardson, Sr., 69, went to be with the
Lord Monday, July 7, 2014 at his home in Water Valley, MS.
Visitation will be 5-8pm Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at Chancellor
Funeral Home in Byram. Services will be 11am Wednesday,
July 9 at First Baptist Church of Terry, with a one hour
visitation prior to service time at the church. Interment will
follow at Terry Cemetery.
Mr. Richardson had lived in Water Valley for the past 3
years, previously living in Dublin, GA for 12 years and
Louisville, MS for 22 years. He loved music– playing and
singing, serving as interim Minister of Music for years and
was a devoted Christian. Mr. Richardson had worked at Bell
South, Georgia Pacific and owned Atley Communications
before working for Advance Drainage Systems.
He is preceded in death by his parents William Atley
Richardson and Gertrude Skipworth Richardson.
Survivors include his wife of 22 years Sarah Eaves
Richardson of Water Valley; son Joey Richardson of Port
Gibson; daughters Gaydon Richardson Wright and
Shannon Richardson both of Louisville and Maggie Jane
Richardson of Water Valley; brother Rick Richardson of
Terry and grandchildren Braydon & Colby Wright.

“Bubba” Pace
Mr. Billy E. “Bubba” Pace, 61, died Wednesday, July
9, 2014, at his home in Louisville, MS. Funeral services
were held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, July 11th, at Porter Funeral
Home, with Rev. Charles Rook officiating. Interment was
in Crystal Ridge Cemetery. Porter Funeral Home was in
charge of arrangements.
Mr. Pace was born February 18, 1953, in Louisville,
MS. He was a retired millwright for Georgia Pacific –
Rosenberg, and a member of Crystal Ridge Baptist
Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Debra
Pace; and his parents, Edra Mae Fulcher Pace and
Marcus “Boy” Pace.
He is survived by his daughter, Bridgett (Scott) Eaves;
two sisters, Sue Ellen Jackson and Zerelda Williams; two
grandchildren, Caleb Eaves and Aubrey Eaves; and his
sister-in-law, Carol (James) Pugh, all of Louisville, MS.
