Mr. Russell Lewis

Funeral services for Mr. Russell Lewis, 88, were held on Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at Brushfork M.B. Church at 11 a.m. Burial at Ruth.

Mr. Lewis was born on January 1, 1928, in Louisville and was a laborer. He passed away on Thursday, June 16, 2016, at his home in Louisville.

Survivors include fiancée, Catherine Haynes; daughters, Josie M. Lewis, Mabelline Lewis-Hull, and Deborah Lewis, all of Memphis, TN; Eltha R. Harris of Milwaukee, WI; Earline Brent of Crystal Spring, MS; and Cathy J. Lewis of West Memphis, AR; brothers, Willie L. Hull and Leroy R. Lewis of Louisville, Robert E. Lewis of Hattiesburg, and Fredrick Love of Oklahoma City, OK; 35 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Beck Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

 

Ms. Minnie Hughes

Funeral services for Ms. Minnie Hughes, 65, were held on Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at Unity in Louisville at 1 p.m. Burial at Piney Grove.

Ms. Hughes was born on February 6, 1951 in Louisville. She was a member of Unity Outreach Fellowship Church. Ms. Hughes passed away on Wednesday, June 15, 2016, at Jeff Anderson Hospital in Meridian.

Survivors include daughters, Laura Johnson and Quanda Davenport, both of Louisville; brothers, Cleveland Hughes, Jessie Hughes, Nathan Hughes, Ivy Dee Hughes, and Thad Hughes; sisters, Mattie Sue Triplett, Rhoda Jane Triplett, Lady Pearl Foster, Maggie Jackson, and Linda Kellogg; six grandchildren; uncles; aunts; nieces; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Beck Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

 

Ms. Imogene Ruth Brasher

Funeral services for Ms. Imogene Ruth Brasher were held 2:30 PM Sunday June 26, 2016 at John E. Stephens Chapel with Rev. John E. Stephens officiating. Interment in East Lawn Cemetery.

Ms. Brasher, 79, passed away Thursday, June 23, 2016 at Neshoba County General Hospital. She lived in Linwood Community most of her life and was a homemaker.She was Baptist.

Survivors: daughters, Terry Jayroe and Diane Stegall; son, Mark Brasher; brothers, Otis Jenkins, Jimmy Jenkins and J.W. Jenkins; (5) grandchildren; (4) great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers: Tommy Waddell, Brad Stuart, Jerry Phillips, Tim Crapps, Will Jayroe, & Dalton Steele.

Mr. Claud Ward

Funeral services for Mr. Claud Ward were held 10 AM Saturday, June 25, 2016 at John E. Stephens Chapel with Rev. Billy James and Rev. John E. Stephens officiating. Interment in Bethsaida Cemetery.

Mr. Ward, 83, passed away Thursday, June 23, 2016 at Neshoba County General Hospital. He was a retired log truck driver. He was a member of Bethsaida Baptist Church.

Survivors: wife, Virginia Ward; stepdaughters, Cindy Gambill and Rebekah Kirk; stepsons, Johnny Baggett and Ronnie Baggett ; sister, Dee Tullos; (7) grandchildren; (11)great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers: T.J. Gambill, Joe Beckham, Jeff Winstead, Don Apperson, Mitch Gheen, Bobby Tullos, Barry Beckham and Matthew Buckalew.
