Funeral services for William M. Moore, 81, were held at 1 p.m., February 10, at Mt. Pleasant #2 M.B. Church in Noxapater. Dr. Curtis Johnson officiated. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
Mr. Moore was a laborer. He died February 6 at his home in Noxapater.
Survivors include 2 daughters, Bobbie Moore and Irma McClendon; 3 sons, Alvin Moore, Andrew Moore, and David Moore; 1 sister, Dorothy R. Greer; 10 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Beck Funeral Home of Louisville was in charge of the arrangements.

at 11 a.m. from McClain-Hays Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Franklin
Smith officiating. Burial followed in Indian Springs Assembly Of God
Cemetery in Louisville. McClain-Hays Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Howard, 71, of Philadelphia, died Tuesday, February 7, 2017, at his home.
He was a native of Winston County and lived in Neshoba County for the past 32 years. He retired from Philadelphia Utilities Water Department after 20 years of service.Mr. Howard was a member of Indian Springs Assembly Of God Church in Winston County.
Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Donna Howard of Philadelphia; daughters, Ralynn. Born of Brandon and Gwen McClain of Gulfport; son, Randy Shon Howard of Philadelphia; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and brother, Willie Howard of Noxapater.

Services for Fanny Elizabeth Shurden, 79, were Feb. 10, 2017 at Blythe Creek Baptist Church near Mathiston with the Rev. Todd Chesser officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.
A homemaker, she was born March 12, 1937, in Mathiston. Mrs. Shurden died Feb. 7, 2017, at her residence in Mathiston.
Survivors include her husband, Leon Shurden of Ackerman; a son, Tim Shurden of Ackerman; two daughters, Beverly Doremus of Ackerman and Teresa Harrison of Eupora; a brother, Jimmy Wiley of Gautier; two sisters, Lynn Dunn of Mathiston and Annette Therrell of Greenwood; five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Blythe Creek Baptist Church.

Services for Virginia Christine Erwin Ware, 90, of Huntsville, Alabama, were Feb. 8, 2017, at New Haven Baptist Church in Choctaw County with the Jimmy Ballard officiating.
She was a retired homemaker and member of New Haven Baptist Church. Mrs. Ware died Jan. 31, 2017, at Rockgate Nursing Facility in Cowan, Tennessee.
Survivors include two sons, James H. Ware Jr. of Harvest, Alabama, and Steven Randall Ware of Dalton, Georgia; a sister, Jearline Henson of Weir; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Larry Greenlee, Mickey Greenlee, Bryan Lucas, David Hutchison, Earl Lucas, Joey Ware and Tony Ware.
Oliver Funeral Home of Eupora was in charge of arrangements.
