Funeral services for Mrs. Dolores J. Craig, 72, were held at Collins Funeral Home in Jackson on Friday, May 24, 2013 at 11 a.m. Rev. Kejuan Smith officiated. Burial in Lakewood Memorial Park in Jackson.
A native of Louisville, Mrs. Craig was a retired educator. Mrs. Craig died on Saturday, May 11, 2013 at Baptist Medical Center in Jackson.

Funeral services for Mrs. Lillie Doris Aldridge Payton, 84, were held at St. James United Methodist Church of Columbus on Saturday, May 25, 2013 at 11 a.m. Rev. F.H. Brown officiated. Burial in Memorial Gardens in Louisville
A native of Louisville, Mrs. Payton was a retired school teacher. Mrs. Payton was a member of St. James United Methodist Church. Mrs. Payton died on Friday, May 17, 2013 at Baptist Hospital in Columbus.

Funeral services for Mr. Melvin Phelps, Jr., 79, were held at Blythe Creek Baptist Church near Mathiston on Thursday, May 30, 2013 at 11 a.m. Rev. Mike Fondren officiated.
A native of Ackerman, Mr. Phelps was a retired welder. Mr. Phelps was a member of Blythe Creek Baptist Church. Mr. Phelps died on Monday, May 27, 2013 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Eupora.
Survivors include sons, Barry Phelps, Bobby Phelps, Carl B. Phelps, all of Ackerman; daughter, Beth Love of Ackerman; brother, James Everett Phelps of Nauvoo, AL; sisters, Oline Bell of Mathiston, Mildred Busby of Mathiston, Mamie Lee Jordan of Evansville, IN; 8 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren.
Family suggests memorials to Blythe Creek Baptist Church in Mathiston.

Ms. Deborah Janet Chamber
Funeral services for Ms. Deborah Janet Chambers were held at 2 PM Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at Rocky Hill Church of God. Rev. Jeff Sullivan, Rev. C.M. Jinkerson officiated with Rev. Ricky Watkins officiating the graveside. Interment was in the Church Cemetery. John E. Stephens Chapel Funeral Services was in charge of arrangements.
Ms. Chambers, 59, passed away on Mon., May 27, 2013 at her residence in Conehatta, MS. She was a certified nursing assistant at Hilltop Manor Nursing Center and also worked at Spaceway Oil Company in Union, MS. She was a member of Church of God. She attended Victory Fellowship Church.
Ms. Chambers is survived by her daughters, Delynn Roberts of Morton, MS, Robin Holmes of Sebastopol, MS and Amy Hines of Morton, MS; son, David Hines of Morton, MS; mother, Mary Powell of Union, MS; sisters, Shirley Sullivan Wallace of Little Rock, MS, Teresa Eakes of Conehatta, MS; brother, Ronald Powell of Sebastopol, MS; (17) grandchildren; (6) great-grandchildren; host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers are James Roberts, Joshua Roberts, Gage Horton, Dakota Jones, Zackery Holmes, Adam Odom, Skylar Hines & Jimmy Ray Hines III.
Mr. Thomas Wayne York

Mr. York, 70, passed away on Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at his residence. He lived most of his life in Houston, TX. He married Sharon Jones October 2, 1961. Mr. York was an entrepreneur and enjoyed spending time with his family, hunting & fishing. He was Methodist. He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd Carlton York & Mary Helen Collin York; Mr. York is survived by his wife, Sharon York of Preston, MS; daughters, Teresa York of Long Beach, CA and Leslie York McPherson & her husband, Glenn of Redwood City, CA; brothers, Jimmy York of Tyler, TX and Floyd York of Lake Jackson, TX; (2) grandchildren.
Mr. Ferdinand Baptist Lohr, 83, of Boyle passed away, Sunday, June 2, 2013 at Walter B. Crook Nursing Home. Visitation will be 12:00- 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at Ray Funeral Home. Memorial Services will immediately follow beginning at 2:00 Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at Ray Funeral Home with Bro. Robert Haney officiating.
Mr. Lohr was born in Germany on October 17, 1929. He served in the US Army and later he became a flying instructor and an AG pilot.
He is survived by his wife, Edra Holder Lohr; daughters, Brenda Vanlandingham (Bernard), and Shelia Rone (Ned Rone, deceased); and a son, Howard Mitchell (Charlotte).
