Mrs. Evie (Eva) Beatrice Parker Moody

Funeral services for Mrs. Evie (Eva) Beatrice Parker Moody was held at 2 pm Fri., June 21, 2013 at John E. Stephens Chapel with Rev. Leslie Courtney & Rev. David Richardson officiating. Interment was in Cedar Hill Cemetery. John E. Stephens Chapel Funeral Services was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Moody, 89, passed away on Monday, June 17, 2013 at Neshoba County Nursing Home. She lived most of her life in the Burnside Community. She worked in retail sales. Mrs. Moody enjoyed gardening, cooking, cleaning and watching New Orleans Saints football. She was pentecostal.

Mrs. Moody is survived by (2) daughters, Linda Rose Guidry of Kenner, LA & Ouida Ferguson of Metairie, LA; (3) sons, Charlie (Pam) Moody of Brookhaven, MS, Max (Judy) Moody of Kenner, LA & Parker (Linda) Moody of Phila, MS; (4) sisters, Jeanette Fulton of Phila, MS, Doris White of Horn Lake, MS, Nancy Reynolds of Noxapater, MS and Pearl Criddle of Mobile, AL; (4) brothers, Tom Parker, Rev. O’Neil Parker, Clovis Parker & Floyd Parker, all of Noxapater, MS; (15) grandchildren; (34) great-grandchildren; (4) great-great-grandchildren; host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers are Scott Moody, Brad Moody, Josh Moody, Darrel Snow, Walter Castillo, Terry Martin, Jason Manning & Alex Martinez and Jeff Moody.

Mr. Brandon Lockett

Mr. Lockett passed away from cardiac arrest on June 16, 2013 at the University Medical Center in Jackson, MS. Funeral services for Mr. Brandon Lockett, age 59, were held on June 22, 2013, at 1 pm at Pleasant Grove U.M. Church. Burial followed in Springhill Cemetery, and Reverend Robert Chandler officiated.

A resident of Louisville, MS, Mr. Lockett was a Laborer.

Survivors include his daughter, LaShundra Davis on Louisville, MS; his son Brandon L. Davis of Louisville, MS; his sisters, Selma Triplett, Mable Thames, Katie Hughes and Betty Lockett all of Louisville, MS; Brenda Lockett of West Point, MS, and Gloria Johnson of North Carolina; his brothers, Victor Lockett of Orlando, FL, and Douglas Lockett and Prentiss Lockett both of Louisville, MS. He is also survived by three grandchildren, aunts, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Beck Funeral Home of Louisville was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Aldun Lee Howard

Mr. Aldun Lee Howard, 60, died Thursday, June 20, 2013, at Oktibbeha County Hospital in Starkville, MS. Graveside services were held at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, 6/23, at Memorial Park Cemetery, with Rev. Franklin Smith officiating. Porter Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Howard was born November 26, 1952, in Louisville. He worked as a welder on an offshore oil rig.

He is survived by a daughter, Ashley Jones of Wichita Fall, TX; a son, Chris Howard of Pineville, NC; a sister, Mary Howard of Nacogdoches, TX; and three brothers, Tony Howard of Louisville, Algene Howard of Pontotoc, and Leo Howard of McCool.

Pallbearers were Robby Dempsey, Clinton Howard, Jason Howard, Jeremy Howard, Jacob Howard, and Justin Howard.
