Obituary – Mrs. Pauline Gazaway

Mrs. Pauline Gazaway, 82, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, May 8, 2014, at the Oktibbeha County Hospital Regional Medical Center in Starkville, Mississippi. Visitation was Saturday, May 10, 2014, from 10 a.m. until service time at Nowell-Massey Funeral Home in Louisville, Mississippi. Memorial services were held at 11 a.m. on the day of the visitation in the Nowell-Massey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Phil Fancher officiating. A private interment will follow at a later date in Betheden Lutheran Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Gazaway was born on February 2, 1932, to Mary Belle Azwall Shaw and Robert Shaw. She was a member of Antioch Baptist Church and she was a homemaker.
She is survived by two daughters, Bettie Gazaway Prisock Glass and Jackie Gazaway Hodges all of Louisville; and by two sons, Billy Gazaway of Philadelphia, Mississippi; and Johnny Gazaway of Brooksville, Mississippi. Mrs. Gazaway also has two sisters, Minnie Pearl VonKanal of Caledonia, Mississippi; and Sara Moore also of Brooksville; and by two brothers, Walter Rushing of Vernon, Alabama; and Buddy Rushing of West Point, Mississippi. She has seven grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
