Preparations for annual Thanksgiving event underway

Abundant Life Outreach Ministry lending a helping hand to those in need

From Aline Haynes

Plans are in process for the Thanksgiving Luncheon to be held Thanksgiving Day at South Louisville Baptist Church Family Life Center.

“As the volunteers and planners begin to approach the Thanksgiving season, it brings to my mind the kindhearted and loving people who have generously sowed seeds of blessings into this ministry so that others may be blessed. I greatly appreciate everything that you as churches, individuals, civic clubs and businesses have done to support this event,” said Haynes

She added, “We will be preparing to feed 1,000 people or more which will include senior citizens, the sick, shut-ins, and those less fortunate. I am asking for your continued support through your finances, volunteered services, and most of all your prayers.”

The opening service begins at 10:30 a.m. They invite all pastors and evangelist to please come out and be a part of the opening service.

Members of the National Wildlife Turkey Federation used the proceeds and fundraising monies from its annual Wildlife event to purchase turkeys for the Annual Community Thanksgiving and presented the turkeys to Mrs. Aline Haynes.
