Registration activities are scheduled Friday, Jan. 3, 2014, for new and transfer students planning to attend spring classes at East Central Community College in Decatur.
Students may register anytime from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Smith Student Union and Tucker Applied Technology Center, according to Dr. Randall E. Lee, Vice President for Student Services.
Prior to registering for spring classes, Dr. Lee said prospective students should have the following information on file in the Office of Admissions and Records: a completed ECCC Application for Admission (www.eccc.edu); ACT or COMPASS scores, which are used for placement in English and mathematics courses; and high school transcripts. Transfer students must have all college transcripts on file prior to registration.
During the registration process, students will also have photos made for identification badges and college yearbook, The Wo-He-Lo; apply for a parking decal (must provide tag number); and complete the online orientation.
Students who have not taken either the ACT or COMPASS test should be prepared to do so at 8:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 3. Cost is $20 per student.
A complimentary lunch will be provided for registration participants from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Mabry Memorial Cafeteria.
