The Retired Education Personnel of Winston County recently welcomed Carolyn Palmer, REPM District III Director.
Palmer was on hand to award for the 6th time in a row a club growth award for the REPM of Winston County adding 20 new members in the last year.
About 38 of the REPM members were present for the discussion and award ceremony. The group which only had 21 members in 2007 has grown to 163 active members today.
In addition to the monthly learning meetings, REPM supports educational programs throughout the county.
The next meeting is set for Nov. 7 at 1 p.m. in the Louisville City Hall and will feature Kyle Curran of BancorpSouth who will speak about the economy.
