Senior Citizens of Red Hills hold two luncheons

The Senior Citizens of Red Hills met on November 11, 2014 at the Mississippi Extension Service. We had 33 in attendance. Thanksgiving Lunch was enjoyed by all members. Special thanks to Vowell’s Market Place for supplying the ham, turkey, and dressing. The members furnished the trimmings and desserts. We are very thankful to those who came and enjoyed sharing our blessings.

We also met on December 10, 2014 for our December meeting and our annual Christmas Luncheon. We had 43 in attendance. Special thanks to the Court House Officials and Supervisors for having Lake Tiak O’Khata cater our meal. Also special thanks for donations made to The Red Hills Seniors. We enjoyed the Santa gift swap game.

The Senior Citizens of Red Hills meet every second Tuesday of each month at the Mississippi Extension Service at 11:00 am. Our next meeting will be January 13, 2015. Each member will bring soup, bread, and/or dessert for our meal. We encourage you to come and join us.
