Service event marked with donation of support

In a service held at Center Hill Church of God in Christ on June 6, 2014, Bishop Hollis Musgrove, Jurisdictional Prelate, donated $10,000

to the Center & Mars Hill Ministries on behalf of Mississippi Southern First Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction of the Church of God in Christ, to help with disaster relief efforts for residents of tornado ravaged communities in WinstonCounty.
During the service, Supervisor Gloria Turmipseed reiterated her efforts as she continues to fight for the Center Ridge Community. Along with the support of several members of the Board of Superintendents and Pastors from the Mississippi Southern First Jurisdiction of the Church of God in Christ, Bishop Musgrove stated that he felt compelled to assist in providing support and prayer to Winston County for those affected by the devastating storms.
The CMHM “Disaster Relief Outreach Ministry” continues assist tornado victims with their food, clean-up supplies, clothing, toiletries, and other basic needs. The distribution center is open Mon., Wed., and Fri. from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. for those who have been affected by the April 28th EF4 Tornado.
