Billy and Jackie Steed of the Lobutcha community proudly announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Christi Dawn Steed, to Russell Tyler McKinley, son of Ricky and Debra McKinley of Ethel.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Bill Steed of the Lobutcha community and the late Mr. and Mrs. Howard Wasson of Ethel.
Christi is a 2009 graduate of Ethel High School. She is a 2013 graduate of Mississippi State University with a BS degree in Elementary Education. She is employed by the Attala County School District as a second grade teacher at Greenlee Elementary.
The prospective bride-groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Blaine of Kosciusko, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Ward of Ackerman, and Mr. Richard McKinley of the Panhandle community.
Tyler is a 2008 graduate of Ethel High School. He is a 2013 graduate of Mississippi State University with a BS degree in Elementary Education. He is employed with the Attala County School District as a sixth grade teacher at Greenlee Elementary.
The couple will exchange vows on Saturday, July 12, at 2:00 p.m. at Marvin Chapel United Methodist Church in Kosciusko. A reception will follow immediately in the fellowship hall. All friends and family are invited to attend.
