Fashioning various types of materials into a replica of an early American Indian village provided a number of lessons recently for fourth grade students at Winston Academy.
While learning about American Indians’ history, lifestyle and culture; the students also gained lessons in creativity and patience.
“This is a tradition. We have created these for 7 years and the students look forward to the project,” said 4th grade teacher Taylor.
“It’s an excellent opportunity for all the kids to learn about a culture that once thrived,’’ said Taylor
