Two Lady Warriors set to take part in softball all-star games

A pair of local girls are set to take part in the Mississippi Association of Coaches Fast-Pitch All-Star Games at Jones County Junior College in Ellisville this weekend.
Reagan Holdiness and Brantlie Sheets of Nanih Waiya High School are among the 49 rising seniors who will be gathering at JCJC later this week to get prepared for the four games that will be played on Saturday. The 1A/2A/3A All-Stars will play at 10 a.m, followed by the 4A/5A/6A All-Stars at approximately 11:30 a.m. The players and coaches will then be introduced between games, followed but he second 1A/2A/3A game. The day all concluded with the second 4A/5A/6A contest.
The Nanih Waiya duo on the 1A/2A/3A South Team are Brittany Hagwood and Katie Jo Riley of Enterprise, Brentley Comans and Abby Leigh Winstead of Sebastopol, Averi Pender of Union, Gianca Holmes of Tylertown, Brittney McCray of Sumrall, McKenzie Milligan of Natchez Cathedral, Micah Redd of West Lincoln, Madison Scoggin of Stringer and Victoria Tyler of St. Patrick’s. The South team is coached by Wayne Wilson and Cassie Wilson of Sebastopol.
Playing for the 1A/2A/3A North team are Breanna Edgeworth and Lane Kennedy of Smithville, Autumn Frost and Mamie Hollenhead of East Webster, Hannah McDowell of Eupora,, Chandler Gates of North Pontotoc, Carleigh Mills of Kossuth, Mary Kathryn Reeves of Hatley, Haley Sandlin of Baldwyn, Taylor Smith and Harley Tucker of Nettleton, and Addie Thompson of Hamilton. The North team is coached by Jeremy Duke and Michael Wildmon of Smithville.
The 4A/5A/6A South team is being coached by Justin Chaney and Jay Smith of Newton County High School. Makin up the team are Darby Bishop and Ashton Lampton of Newton County, Brittany Baty of Northeast Lauderdale, Kelcey Bremenkamp of Gulfport, Jordan Fitzgerald of North Pike, Elizabeth Frey of Purvis, Natalie Hogue and Kaylen Kosbab of Harrison Central, Samantha Papp of Oak Grove, Jackie Shows of West Harrison, Sara Van Schaik of Petal, and Tristan Wheat of Poplarville.
The 4A/5A/6A North team, which is being coached by Shane Staten and Dennis Perryman of Southaven,  is led by Hailey Lunderman of Neshoba Central. Also playing for the North are Sierra Anderson and Molly Murphy of Lewisburg, Bre Harford and Jessie Bumpous of Southaven, Alex Brown of Pontotoc, Nicole Fullilove of South Panola, Katherine Inman of Northwest Rankin, Chelsea Lamping of DeSoto Central, Emily Malone of Tishomingo County, Courtney Moore of Clinton, and Haylee Morse of Madison Central.
