Mr. and Mrs. William F. Golden of Chandler, Texas announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Dawn Elizabeth Golden to Dr. James Dustin Gentry, son
of Mr. and Mrs. Doug Gentry of Kosciusko, Mississippi.
The bride-elect is the paternal granddaughter of William W. Golden and the late Augusta Golden of Chandler, Texas. She is the maternal granddaughter of the late Billy B. Palmore and the late Willie L. Palmore of Tyler, Texas.
The bride-elect is a 2005 graduate of Brownsboro High School in Brownsboro, Texas. Miss Golden graduated in 2007 from Tyler Junior College where she earned an Associates Degree before graduating from the University of Texas at Tyler in 2009 with her Bachelor’s of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. She has been employed as a fourth grade teacher at Brownsboro Intermediate School for the last 3 years. Beginning this August, she will be teaching 3rd grade at Grace Christian School in Louisville, Mississippi.
The prospective bridegroom is the paternal grandson of the late Wallace Gentry of Louisville, Mississippi and Jean Gentry of Louisville, Mississippi. He is the maternal grandson of the late Ruth Cremeen of Noxapater, Mississippi and Leo Cremeen of Kosciusko, Mississippi formerly of Noxapater Mississippi.
He is a 2003 graduate of Kosciusko High School. He received his associate of science degree from Holmes Community College in 2005. In 2007 he graduated from Mississippi State University where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and in 2011 he was awarded a Doctorate in Medicine from the University Of Mississippi Medical Center. For the last 3 years Dr. Gentry has been busy finishing his post graduate training in Family Medicine at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Tyler as well as his Masters of Business Administration at the University of Texas at Tyler. Dr. Gentry will begin practicing at Louisville Mississippi as employer of the Winston Medical Center.
Vows will be exchanged July 5, 2014 at twelve o’clock at the First Assembly of God in Chandler, Texas. There will be a reception to follow at the Family Life Center. Family and friends are invited to attend. The couple will make their home in Louisville, Mississippi.
